Buying the ability to have more than one preset time is in itself wrong, as it is not a bonus, but an essential feature which is removed from a PAID app to strongarm you into paying more. If this very simple app were free, Id gladly pay to have the full version. As I have foolishly paid just to see if it would fit my needs I refuse to pony up a dime even.

Its intuitive and does the job. Must-have for TED fans :)

This small gem does it all. Set speaking time, tap, go. Nicest feature: changing speaking times by swiping. I usually like to use an old analog pocket watch when I give a talk, but I loved this app from the start. The LED/TED-display is bright and crisp and the numbers easily. Nice tool for teaching/training session, and also in the home. Only disadavantage I can see: Like all timers it may keep you standing next to where you put it. But then there is so much more to giving a great talk than getting the time right :)

Classic example of a program that sacrifices style over usability. If youre happy with the presets, then all is well. But changing the timer settings (especially changing the values for the yellow and the red light) is needlessly complicated. Instead of all the swiping, a screen with a simple normal form for entering these settings (as in Apples alarm app) would have been so much easier to use. And making the feature to save more than one preset an in-app purchase is insulting. I wouldnt have minded paying a little bit more, but I feel insulted when I am blackmailed into spending more just to get basic functionality.

I use this a lot when I teach or speak. Helps me keep the time and looks great at the same time. Educator must-have.

I dont know why this app has so many bad ratings. It does what its supposed to do, and its free. What more could you ask for? It came in handy for me as I was giving a presentation today.

This is a great app with easy setup and excellent display during countdown. It would be great if we could "optionally" play a different sound from ringtone library at each of the milestone (Yellow, Red and zero)

I expected to continue to count after 00:00 because this is count down timer and a lot of presentation opportunity allow us to have spare 30 sec or more. If count down just stop at 00:00, then no difference from kitchen timer. I really hope to have the function to continue exceeded time forplactice.

I was thinking of making an app exactly like this one, but Im glad I didnt because this one is way better than I could do. It now has permanent space in my iPhone -- its definitely a *must have app*.

When I practice for my public speaking class, Ill be all set now. Great idea and a very useful app

If you ever have to speak within a given time frame then this is the app for you. With an interface that is both simple & fast, but still elegant. If you forgot how to set it up, it even has a clear set of instructions. Why wouldnt you want. GREAT APP!

needs to flash as it ends. upgrade and put sound on it at the end to manually turn on and off.

Works very intuitively. Two suggestions for improvement: more presets and counting the other way (sometimes you want to know how long you spoke, not how much time is left)

Would love it if the time would count upward after the expired time so that you know how far over you are.

My only suggestion for this app is a flashing red background when time runs out.

I love this App! However, the one thing that it needs is an option to go negative once the time has run out. As it stands now if you dont see it hit Zero, you have no idea how much time youre over. It could be one minute over or 10 minutes over, you have no idea because it hits zero and stops. Id also like the option of having a beep at the Yellow and Red warnings so that again, if Im not look at it I get an audible warning. Add these and Id gladly give it the 5th star!

Nice app. Would like to be able to set below 15 min in 5 min increments. Agree with others that a count upward after end time would be great.

Easy to use-and really made keeping on schedule for the lectures,breaks, and classes a cinch! I think that instead of the small "status" lights at the bottom-it would be easier to know at a glance if the numbers changed colors instead-with the red flashing at about 5minutes remaining?

Warning! This app does NOT count upwards after time has expired. Its an enormous oversight, and one that prevents our speaking business from using this app as our speaker timer. If this feature is included in future, well revise review.
